The tip about lowering the bar from asking for likes and comments, down to asking for likes, knowing that the comments will come more easily, is a great one, and something I will certainly try. Thank you.
Mack, for me, the biggest reason that I leave few comments (anywhere) is time constraint. I may have feedback - including praise for a column or idea, which is what I'd comment on most all of your articles - or something to say about a topic, but am often pressed for time. I don't like that that's my reason, and as much as I'd like to engage in valuable conversations like these, it requires weighing the trade-out.
I learn a tremendous amount of information and get lots of very effective advice from Substack dialogue! I feel that online we learn from each other! I appreciate this opportunity to share my thoughts!
Hi Mac, You've broadened my perspective again with this story about lowering the bar. After every text of yours, I have something to think about and something to apply. Thank you!
In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, these online spaces are where many of us find our tribes, sounding boards, and safe havens (also brothers and sisters from other mothers). In the end, the best communities are built on genuine connections, shared passions, and a good dose of patience. Sooooo much patience lol
As a writer … boy, oh boy, reading is much easier that writing mate 🤪🤣😎
I agree, except for those rare bursts of inspiration where I can’t write fast enough. Usually happens at 3am LOL
May be an age thing 🤦🏻♂️ .. I have the same problem 🤣

Thank you Freya for doing both! Have a great week!

Thank ya darlin’, always happy to hear from you any time I can! And I can relate, I wish I had more time to comment on all the articles I want to!
