Brilliant piece! Loved this so much and how you used Jesus as an example here. We often forget that people want to help promote us ✨

Mey Mack! Your historic deep dive demonstrates even the greatest idea doesn't spread on its own. Really like it!

Greatly resonating ideas or products don't need much text to gain acceptance. However, without other people spreading the pros it's over.

So, you can be sure I've already liked and restacked :)

I love the Jesus comparison, and nope, I did not roll my eyes.

Not even once hahahahahaha

This reminds me of something that happened at a client. We had this customer who kept emailing us asking for better documentation so she could train her team more effectively. Instead of seeing that as a sign she wanted to advocate for us (which I knew btw), the freaking CEO saw it as criticism of our docs. She was already recommending us to other companies but was getting frustrated because she couldn't properly explain how to use our product. We finally gave her early access to new features and made her basically a beta partner. She ended up being responsible for like 18% of our referrals that year.

Happy Thursday bro

Thank you sis for not rolling your eyes lol Your example is so prevalent in business, many companies don’t know their customers well enough to read intention behind customer feedback. They tend to view customer feedback as criticism unless it is glowing. The CEO saw the criticism when it was really the customer wanting to help her. It’s so frustrating! Thank for your support :)

Hi Mack. Thanks for pulling together some strands that are obviously animating for what you do and how you do it. I appreciated how you talked about Jesus' care for those who had most been beaten down by that society, and how he took time and care to empower them where they were. Thanks for sharing what you find in culture (movies, music) and here in even older narrative.

Thank you, Hans. I have considered a series Business Lessons From the Bible or something similar. Talking purely about marketing is pretty boring. It helps to relate it to its impact on real people, who are always more interesting :). Have a good Thursday.
