Personality tests are so much fun, aren't they? I like to use them but also caution that they just give an indication at a certain point in time. I love the way you've related them to writing a Substack, and it's good advice. Ensure you have something for everyone!

LOVED this article, Mack! The quiz was fascinating. I'd never taken it before and learned I'm an INFJ-T.

I've been meaning to do a post on content creation and introversion for a long time (like how to tackle content creation as an introvert -- because as an introvert myself, I know it can be challenging). Your article inspired me to get to it. 😊

Also, as always, thanks for the shout out!

Thank you, Morgan! That’s very interesting, it seems several of my friends here are either INFJ or INTJ. The only difference being Thinking vs Feeling. I may have to incorporate this into my future writings here :)

I think maybe you were the person at some point who said you were curious about the breakdown of introverts and extroverts. Now I’m kinda curious too. 😊

Infp and I don’t want to attend a conference or network.

I’ll be in my room with 1-2 others in a leadership role

In groups I direct and sit back, I prefer to be alone and have no one within feet of me

I do not want to appear on camera. Ever.

I’m a visionary and leader.

Hi Sara, INTJ here and sounds like we would get along just fine. Have always preferred to be with a small group of close friends over any type of crowd. Thanks for chiming in!

Thanks for the inclusion Mack. I’m an INFJ (the rarest type apparently) but interestingly I probably do steer my content more towards Sensing types.

Thanks for sharing this, Mack and including me in the list with such great company. Love how you explore how personality types might influence content creation. It's definitely an interesting angle to consider. Looking forward to seeing how you develop these ideas further!

Thank you Bette! I’ve been thinking about this for a while once I noticed there seemed to be a lot of introverts on Substack, as I mentioned to you! It’s a very interesting angle that needs more coverage, I think.

BTW how’s the weather in Michigan? It was 76 for a high here today! Mildest May I can ever remember!

We had quite a bit of rain here. The last few days have been gray. I did manage to get my lawn cut the other day in between. But overall it's been pretty mild in terms of temperature. I hope you're having a good weekend thus far 😊

Hey Mack!

I loved this piece—thank you for sharing such thoughtful insights on how both introverts and extroverts can find their rhythm with content creation. As someone who started introverted and has since found a middle ground, your take on Substack resonated with me. It feels like a more grounded and authentic space compared to the performance-heavy vibe of some social platforms.

Your tips about low-pressure engagement and streamlining with tools were super helpful. I’m curious: have you come across any AI tools that have made your writing process on Substack easier or more enjoyable? I would love to hear what’s been working for you.

Thanks again for such a generous and encouraging post!

P.S. Thank you for the mention!

Hi Lucille! I will sometimes use ChatGPT and Claude to help me structure articles here. I want to do a better job of using Notes, and I may try to use GPT and Claude for that too.

This is such a helpful framework, bro.

You've basically laid out a cheat code for content strategy on Substack.

PS Thank you for the mention.

I hope your day is going well thus far!

Thank you, sis! I’m enjoying doing the research into the different personality types, I am definitely going to make a more conscious effort to appeal to Sensors, for instance!

Happy Thursday, sis!
