Thank you for this Mack. What bugs me on a general level is how we're still treating AI like it's just a faster horse, when really it's a car. We're focused on making our old processes quicker that we might be missing chances to completely reimagine how we create. AI is reshaping what it means to be a creator no doubt about it.
AI is making it easier for us to be lazy. To your point, it can also make good creators into great ones, if they are willing to put in the work to elevate their created content. But we always love cutting corners so here we are. Happy Weds, sis!
I’ve never heard of Grok. I’ll have to try it. ChatGPT is my go-to, and I absolutely love Canva. I finally broke down and started paying for a subscription a couple of months ago.
Nice! Canva is really good, I just don’t use it enough to justify paying for it. ChatGPT has consistently given me good results I think it’s slightly better than Claude now for my needs. But I currently prefer Grok. Thanks for sharing!
infuse the drafts with my own voice, tone and insights.
Show me the personality is what I think is lacking once content creators utilize AI. Example: True writters like the process of selecting topics vs. what is trending. Long-term it might impair brand connectivity.
Great comment, Jimmy. I think the mistake too many creators make is they use AI as the writer, when they should be using it more as the editor. In my own writing, I can trust myself to explain concepts, use correct tone and include good examples and research. But h often struggle with organizing information and outlining. AI can help me with this, but can’t do well with tone, voice or personality.
Even with topics, as you said, most writers take pride in topic selection. I try to use AI to aid with general topic ideas (what’s trending) then tailor to the audience I have or want to reach.
To answer your question: Reconstruction of my content marketing movement is not a priority or area of focus right now. Backburner over the next passage of time.
